BOOKING & RATES
BOOKING INFO
For deer and turkey hunts, a shooting proficiency test will be necessary at your maximum effective range (determined by you) once you arrive. This is not to be mean, but rather to be fair to the animals we pursue. Wounding game is not acceptable, but we understand this is fair chase hunting and problems arise in the field. If you are unfortunate enough to wound an animal, your hunt will immediately end. Drawing blood equals a filled license.

Without sufficient notice we cannot rebook your hunt to give the opportunity to another hunter. Rifle and muzzleloader MULE DEER licenses are not guaranteed due Nebraska Game and Parks Commission (NGPC) license quotas. Client must notify SRO within seven days of posted results. Deposits will be refunded or rolled into the following year for clients who do not draw desired MULE DEER. If unsuccessful in drawing, client must provide draw results from NGPC to be eligible for a refund.
All hunts are on private land strategically located and leased by Sand River Outfitters. Snow goose season is mid February to mid April. Archery turkey season runs from approximately the end of March to mid April. Shotgun turkey begins mid April and runs until late May. Archery deer starts September 1 and runs through the end of the year. Rifle deer typically begins the second Saturday of November for nine days and muzzleloader runs the month of December.
